Clergy and Congregational Wellness

Pastoral leaders may feel challenged to meet real and certificate program pic1perceived expectations associated with servant leadership. JCSTS, in partnership with the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference, is
committed to providing resources that promote clergy and congregational wellbeing.

The impetus for the Clergy Wellness program is found in the alarming data about the burnout rate of parish clergy. Having heard the stories and testimonies of many of its graduates, JCSTS especially is concerned about the correlation between the burnout rate of African American clergy and the precipitous decline of African-American PCUSA congregations.

Listen out for the start date announcement for this program!
